TEIN MOTORSPORTS WITH MUCH INVOLVEMENT IN JAPAN RALLY.

Round 6 of the Japanese Rally Championship: “Montre 2016 in Tsumagoi”, August 25 through 28 in Gunma Prefecture’s Tsumagoi Village.

In class JN6 the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X-team Nutahara-Sato finished Day 1 in 3rd place. Keeping a stable speed despite the wet conditions on Day 2, they ended in 2nd place. Subaru WRX STI-crew Kamada-Ichino’s aggressive driving on Day 1 led them to 2nd place, 5.1 seconds behind the lead. Pushing to climb up on Day 2, sadly they crashed in SS12, finishing short of the podium in 4th place.
Driving a Abarth 500 Rally R3T, in JN5 class team Shinkai-Urushido on Day 1 climbed from 3rd to 2nd place in SS6. Leaping to the top in SS11 on Day 2, they finished in 1st place. It is their 2nd win this season.
In class JN1 team Koizumi-Koizumi (Nissan March Nismo S) emerged into 3rd position in SS2, only to be penalized with an extra minute for early arrival at an Arrival Time Control and falling to 7th place. They managed to catch up and finish in 5th place, but it was a disappointing result nevertheless.
Round 7 is the Rally Hokkaido from September 23rd through 25th.
