Back on the black stuff by Mark Higgins

China round 3 and onto the tarmac in the Prodrive FAW golf 7 for the first time.

The event was based in the amazing mountains of liupanshui, with Chris Atkinson coming back to drive the latest subaru.
The first day was a super special that they decided to make out of gravel!!!
Not ideal when the rest of the event is full tarmac.
We decided to keep the car in tarmac trim because of the limited time to change and unfortunately had a puncture dropping us 11 seconds to Chris.
Once we got the car onto the mountain stages we pulled straight into the lead on stage 2 and managed to set fastest times on all of the remaining stages to Win by 55 seconds.
Very tricky weather conditions on day two made it very difficult but the team did a fantastic job and Darren on the pace notes to give us our second win in a row.
Back out again in a few weeks 👍

Final day tomorrow and Mark Higgins is leading the Liupanshui Rally from our former driver Chris Atkinson by 36 seconds..
