Despite being used to racing in South America where conditions are not easy at times, Paulo Nobre admits that the Cyprus Rally was challenging. The Brazilian driver who races with a ŠKODA Fabia R5 of Motorsport Italia has finished Cyprus Rally in 17th overall position. It could have been better but Paulo preferred not to risk, trying to avoid all the stones found on the path of the 13 special stages from which the rally was composed. On arrival the Brazilian also recalled that the result weighs a puncture in the fourth special stage, which cost nearly three and a half minutes. The Brazilian couple has however shown to have a good race pace and in the final part he scored two tenths and an eighth overall. Without the puncture they could enter again in the top ten and conquer other points for the European after those conquered in Greece.
